Gio got so long that he almost can't fit.

Gio had his 4-month checkup with the pediatrician. The appointment was at 10:30 a.m. I woke Gio and dressed him. Lukie came with us. He drank his Kid Essentials in the car for breakfast.

Gio met the nurse, who took his weight, height and head circumference. Here are his measurements at 4 months and 1 day:

Weight was 15 pounds, 7.8 oz. (50th percentile);

Height was 25 and 1/4 in. (50th percentile);

Head circumference was 16 and 1/2 inc. (also 50th percentile).

Gio got 3 vaccinations. He had a little fever and threw up twice at the end of the day. He was a bit fussy and cranky at night. The next morning he threw up again, after I gave him his vitamin D3 drops following his morning feeding. But he didn't have a fever anymore and seemed to be fine. He played and laughed when Lukie made a funny sound.

Gio's Milestones:

He can roll from his back to his tummy;

He can stand if someone helps balance him;

He can pull himself up to a standing position if someone holds his hands;

He grabs and holds objects;

He is interested in food (even though he can't eat solids yet);

He smiles and giggles a lot.
