Gio's potty training.

You made it, boy!

A couple weeks before Gio's birthday, he asked me to put him on the toilet after seeing Lukie finish his business. Gio sat on it for a little while, not scared at all. I was surprised and a little impressed by his confidence and how he looked so comfortable sitting there for the first time. Gio looked around and sang. The only thing that came out was gas. Gio said, "Uh oh!" Lukie and I laughed, it was so funny and cute. I thought, maybe this is the time to start Gio's potty training.
Saturday, February 4, 2012: After lunch, Gio took my hand and we walked to the bathroom. I sat him down and gave him a book and we read it together. Then he did it!

Lukie's lunch box

The recent bento box for Lukie who is crazy about sausage lately.

Since Lukie has been attending two schools, I've been making lunch for him almost every day. Lukie eats his lunch in the car while I drive him to his afternoon school. Gio comes with me every day to pick up his big bro from the morning school.

Lukie asked me to not cut the sausages because he wanted to know how many he had.

Sometimes, but not always, Lukie eats almost his entire lunch. Gio always likes Lukie to share some food with him. Even just a piece of apple or sugar snap pea makes him happy.

When Mommy ran out of ideas for Lukie's bento box. :P

To be honest, I just can't think of a menu for five days straight. Sometimes I stop at McDonald's or Burger King for Lukie. He doesn't like cold sandwiches. He prefers warm foods which are very difficult to keep warm because the time from home to school is about 20 minutes.

I love seeing his surprised face when he opens his lunch box. Even if he doesn't finish his meal, I'm happy.

He asked me to make fried rice but he only ate the other food! -_-"

I have to buy more tools to decorate his lunch box and somehow get him to eat cold sandwiches (that is my mission). Maybe a BLT will be good for him, not too cold, and not too difficult to prepare. Anyway, I wish he liked PBJ. :D

At least I love to see this smile.
XOXO LOVE YOU!!
