Brides, Love and the Color of the World

It is autumn now. Autumn is one of my favorite seasons. I remember when I was young and lived in my country, it was cold a little bit in November and sometimes in December. I went to school in the morning and I had to bring my cardigan with me too. Even though it used to be a little bit cold in Thailand, it was never cold like in the USA. Trees never change color. It is always green and green and green. The weather is also the same, hot and hot and hot.

Since I came to the USA, I love seeing trees change their color. Everytime the autumn comes, it always make me love this world even more. I love to see the color of the trees on both side of the road when I drive. It just make me feel very lucky to be in this world. Orange, yellow and brown are the colors of autumn.

Love is one word but can mean so many colors. Someone's love can be red and someone's love can be another color. What do you think about your love? What is your love's color? Well, I was married in spring so my color of love is very pretty, bright and fresh...like me...hahaha. What if someone's love is like the color of autumn? What do you think?

I would think that love needs to be hugging and cozy together. Emm...very sweet...hah.

Why am I talking about the seasons and love but not the brides? Oh...I'm starting now. I just went to my brother in law's wedding last week. The wedding took place at the Ocean Cliff Hotel in Rhode Island. It is a very beautiful place where you can see the ocean and the boats.

Too bad it was raining all day. Raining couldn't stop love, though. Everybody was very happy and excited for the bride and groom. Guests and family from around the country came for the wedding. I got a job for this party, though. I was a family photographer. Well, everybody in my family knows that i love to play with cameras and shoot pictures everywhere I go. Let me show you some pictures from the wedding.

I believe that weddings are just all about love and the brides. It is very funny that some wedding parties have been planned for a year to celebrate just one day. Err....I've been through this already. I know. A lot of things to think of and a lot of stress that the bride has to go through. For all of that, it is just because of love that is growing between the two people. They call this the power of love.

Congratulations for all couples that have so much love for each other. You should know that you are the match...and you born for each other....with love...

สำหรับ วันนี้ จะมาอัพเดทเรื่องเก่า ที่มีรูปมาเสนอให้ทุกคนได้รู้จัก กับ...ป๋าของปู

ป๋ากับปู เราสนิทกันมาก นี่ก็เกือบจะครบหนึ่งปีแล้วที่ป๋ามาหาปูที่อเมริกา เวลาผ่านไปเร็วเหลือเกิน.....เมื่อปีที่แล้วป๋ามาหาปูตอนอากาศเริ่มหนาว แล้วก็มาใช้ชีวิตอยู่กับปูและชาลี สองเดือนเต็ม จำได้หรือเปล่า.....ต้องขอโทษที่ ที่อพาร์ทเม้นของปูเล็กไปหน่อยเลยไม่ค่อยมีความเป็นส่วนตัวเท่าที่ควร...ขอโทษนะจ๊ะ....แต่หลังจากที่ป๋ามาทำให้ความมุ่งมั่นในการจะมีบ้านเป็นของตัวเองทยานสูงขึ้น และอยากจะบอก ป๋าสุดที่รักว่า ตอนนี้ ปูและชาลีทำได้แล้ว เรามีบ้านแล้ว

แล้วก็ยินดีต้อนรับป๋ามาหาปูได้ทุกเมื่อ ทุกเวลา อยู่นานเท่าไหร่ก็ได้ อยู่ตลอดไปกับปูเลยก็ดี.....ขอบคุณมากนะจ๊ะ สำหรับกำลังใจ และความรักที่มีให้ปูตลอดมา ตั่งแต่เล็กจนโต ยิ่งแก่ขึ้นเลื่อย ๆ ก็ยิ่งรู้มากขึ้นว่าป๋ารักปูมากแค่ไหน....I love you too...and very much.
นี่ก็เริ่มหนาว อีกแล้ว ปูกับชาลี เริ่มคิดถึงป๋าแล้วซิ เราสองคนพูดถึงป๋าตลอดว่า ว้าว....ปีที่แล้วป๋ามาฉลองเทศกาลที่นี่ Thanks giving and Christmas.....We had so much fun together....



แล้วก็ได้ไป เที่ยวหลาย ๆ ที่ หนาว ก็หนาวทำให้รู้สึกว่า ความหนาวนี่มันสุดแสนจะทรมารจริง ๆ เย็นจนสั่นไปหมด......แต่ก็สนุกดีเนอะ ชอบจริง ๆ ที่ทุกขั้นที่สำคัญของชีวิตปูมีป๋าอยู่ตลอดเวลา

ไม่ว่าจะเป็น เข้าโรงเรียนตอนเล็ก ๆ ป๋านี่แหละ คอยมีโอวัลตินเย็น ๆ แช่แข็งรอปูเวลาตอนกลับมาจากโรงเรียน ป๋าปูทำโอวัลติลอร่อยที่สุดในโลก...

ชาลีพยายามจะทำให้อร่อยเท่าป๋าด้วยนะ แต่ก็ยังอีกนาน...เวลาที่เรียนจบแล้วต้องมาหาแม่ ที่อเมริกา ก็เป็นวันที่ปูได้รู้ซึ้งถึง ความรัก เพราะป๋าก็เป็นคนที่มาส่งปูแล้ว ปูก็ยังจำ อ้อมกอดที่ป๋าให้ก่อนที่จะปล่อยให้ลูกสาว ต้องบินเดี่ยว คนเดียว นับตั่งแต่นั้นมาปูรู้เลยว่า......
ปูรักใครที่สุดในประเทศไทย....
แต่งงานนี่เรื่องใหญ่นะ ป๋าก็เป็นส่วนสำคัญในชีวิตปูเหมือนกัน แต่งงานแบบคริสเตียน พ่อเจ้าสาว เป็นอะไรที่สำคัญมาก แล้วปูก็มีความรู้สึก ปลื่มมากที่ได้เกินเป็นลูกสาว ของป๋า.....ขอบคุณมากคับ
ปีนี้ป๋าไม่ได้มาเยื่ยมปู แต่ไม่เป็นไร เรายังคุยกันตลอด..... จริงหรือเปล่า....บางทีปูก็ไม่ได้โทรมาก แต่ป๋าก็เข้าใจและ รอปูเสมอ....อืม....ไม่มีใครเยื่ยมเท่าป๋าอีกแล้ว.....
ปีหน้าจะกลับไปเยื่ยมป๋า แล้วถ้าย้ายบ้านเมื่อไหร่ป๋าต้องมาหาปูแล้วก็ต้องอยู่นานกว่าเดิมด้วยนะ
ชีวิตยังอีกยาวนาน รู้สึกดีที่มีคนคอยรักและห่วงใย คนที่คอยให้กำลังใจเรา คนที่คอยปลอบโยนเราเวลาเราอ่อนแอ และท้อแท้

(แต่ปูไม่เคยท้อแท้ใช้มะ) อวยพรและหวังให้แต่สิ่งดีๆเกิดขึ้นกับเรา คนๆนั้นก็คือนคนที่รักเรานั่นเอง ใครเหรอ ปูรู้อยู่แก่ใจ.....อัพเดทอันนี้สำหรับป๋าสุดที่รักของปู

Stick a fork in me and I'm done!

Summer is over, summer is over. I can't believe 3 months of summer have passed. It is very tiring to work at the Coach store in East Hampton. Coach is located on Main Street, so it gets a lot of traffic and that makes me go crazy every day. Sometimes I have to work 8 days in a row and close the store every night. I feel exhausted. But there is something fun that keeps me going. East Hampton is very popular and a lot of rich people from Manhattan and New Jersey vacation there. This summer I saw a lot of celebrities in East Hampton (too bad I don't have pictures to show you guys).


I saw Julianne Moore last weekend with her family walking on New Town Lane in East Hampton. I felt very excited because I walked so close behind them that I heard Julianne Moore say she wanted to go to the Book Hampton store. I was amazed by one thing about her. She is shorter than I expected! She is about my height. I'm 5 feet, 2 inches tall. Her husband had their daughter on his shoulders and their son was walking along with them. They look like they are one very happy family.

Well, that was a story about Julianne Moore in East Hampton. Before I saw Julianne Moore, I also met Howard Stern. He was with his girlfriend (I guess) in the store where I work. Man...he seemed like a pretty nice and quiet guy, unlike the way he acts on his show. I was impressed with his conversation and he even said "thank you" when he left the store.


Again...I wish I could have taken pictures with all the celebrities I saw in East Hampton this summer. Some of them I just walked past, such as Matt Lauer, who was walking on Main Street with his son. Mandy Moore stopped in and bought shoes at Coach. Her size is 9. Katie Couric stopped at Coach and asked where the J. Crew store was in East Hampton.

This town is very busy during the summer, even on rainy days. Tomorrow is Labor Day, which means the summer is over. East Hampton will soon be very quiet. Starbucks will lose a lot of business all of a sudden. No ambulances turning on their sirens three times a day...and my Coach store will close at 5 o'clock again until next summer. Woo hoo!

Self introduction

Today is Sunday. I'm off today and I can spend some time working on my newest project. It is this blog. I have been reading some of my friends' blogs for so long and I feel like I have to have one too so I can be trendy like them.

First of all, I would like you to know a little something about me ...

My name is Panadda Tumino. My last name sounds Japanese but it is actually Italian. I have been married about 4 years to an Italian American. I'm a Thai woman who has lived in the USA for about 11 years. (Wow, I can't believe it. Has it been that long?)

When I first came to the USA, it was in 1995 for the purpose of visiting my mother. She came here 18 years ago and never went back to Thailand at all. (I don't know why.) I studied at a college near my mom's house and met my husband there. We dated for 3 years and then got married. My life is very simple, isn't it?

I love to draw cartoons, play video games, cook, bake, shop and chat with my online friends. Sometimes I spend all day chatting with my friends and dinner never gets started ... Ha ha ha! Shame, shame, shame, right?

I am somewhere between my late 20s and early 30s. (Thinking about getting old makes me sad.) It is up to you to guess how old I am. I can say that no woman wants to tell the truth about her age unless she is about 5 years old and just graduated kindergarten.

Well, this is only 0.005% of "Self introduction". I promise I will try to update this blog as often as I can. It is such a pleasure to meet everyone.
