When you reached 5 months we were in New Jersey. Mommy and Daddy tried to measure your height and weight at Grandma and Grandpa's house.
Let's take a look how you've grown...
Height: 26 3/4 inches but today Mommy measured again and you are at 27.5 inches (O.O) Oh, my! goodness (This is why your clothes seem to be short all of a sudden.)
Weight: 17 lbs. We don't have a scale here to weigh you again. (Sorry, sweetheart :p)
Head circumference: 17 inches (up by 0.5 inch from last month).
Milestones...
Speaking of milestones, Mommy just wants to cry because you have so many improvements.
First big milestone (for me, hahaha) is you can roll from your back to your stomach now. You can do it so fast. In the blink of an eye you're already on your stomach, so I have to keep my eyes on you all the time now when you're on the bed.You also can sit without support pretty long now.
"Talkative boy"
Another big one is you can babble, combinning vowels and consonants such as "edth" and "heath." And when you cry Mommy thinks you're calling her: "Eeeeeemmmmm...mama...mama!" This happens every time now. First I thought you were just crying. Honey, you make me feel so profound.
I love you baby
You can also hold, grasp, reach and use your two elbows to get objects. It's so cute that everything you hold you put right into you mouth. On Christmas day you showed all your uncles that you can reach an object next to you by rolling and grasping it (and of course putting it in your mouth right away). (^_^")
"What is that?"
You can take an object from another person's hand, too. When I give you a teething toy you will take it from Mommy's hand. So cute, honey.
sit and talk
You can laugh out loud now. Your laugh is so funny, Lukie. When you hear something like a weird noise you always laugh. Daddy discovered a game to make you at least smile and sometimes laugh. That is the dialing-a-telephone game. He will pretend that he's dialing a phone number on your stomach and make sounds like "BOOP...BEEP...BOOP" in a high pitch. That is so funny for you.
Another small milestone (Mommy thinks) is that you can sit down by yourself longer than last month -- about 5 minutes -- and you try to sit with your two hands in the air, unlike last month when you used your two hands to help you sit.
"Creeping"

This is just an extra. Just 2 weeks after mommy talked about your milestones. Now you are also start to creep :o. This is very good honey.Pretty soon you will be able to crawl. I'm so proud of you.
