Some toys for little kids of Gio's age are in the infant area.
I found Children's Museum of the East End (CMEE) by searching for kids activities in the Hamptons. Surprisingly, it wasn't too far from here. After our first visit, Lukie talked about it all night with Charlie until he fell asleep. Both Lukie and Gio like this place very much. I think Gio is at just the right age, too, because he is very active.

After trying it that one afternoon, I decided to sign us up as members for one year. Even though my kids enjoy it, I still prefer them to play outdoors. I'm also worried about germs. But CMEE is a good option for us on a boring rainy day.

Ahoy Luke! Role playing is fun for kids.
Gio had so much fun riding the rollercoaster.
There are more things to do than are shown in these pictures. Lukie wishes he could invite his friends to come play with him. He wants his cousin Sadie to come with him. Sweet boy.
Update: Three days after I took the kids to CMEE, Gio came down with a cold. Then me, and then Lukie. Poor kids and I. It's a nice place but I don't think I'll take them as often anymore.
